New Home Construction

During Covid 2020 my young family of 6 bought a 5 Acre lot, lived in a tiny camper mostly in isolation for 6 months and built our second home directly on granite, on the Canadian shield. From start to finish, it took us about 8 months. Our home was built following many principles of Solar Passive, including double wall framing to limit thermal bridging and increasing R-value. The following year we moved to the Maritimes chasing a long time dream to live by the ocean.
